The Imperial County Fire Department was called to a ‘mass fatality incident’ just after 6:15am, on Highway 115, in Southern California yesterday morning. A Ford Expedition SUV was driving westbound on Norrish Road when it traveled ‘in the direct path’ of a big rig truck heading northbound on 115. Officials say the vehicle was carrying 25 passengers but only equipped to seat six. At least 13 people have died and several others were hurt, including an undisclosed number of children. Five were airlifted to a nearby hospital, three of whom are now in intensive care. Officials said they believed all of the victims are undocumented migrants. Read more at The Daily Mail.
